Afternoon Kayak on the Chicago River
Our fellow LSSC member Margaret Sheridan is assisting with a Kayak event on the Chicago River. This will start with video and practical instruction. We need to meet at 11:45 a.m. on the riverwalk at Urban Kayaks landing (below the St. Regis Hotel). to allow time for the instruction and getting everyone set up. We plan to be on the river by 12:30 p.m. for an hour kayaking ride. We will meet afterwards for some late afternoon lunch, and cocktails at Taco Rio, located at 457 East Riverwalk, Chicago, Illinois. Taco Rio is a cash only restaurant.
Dress appropriately for the weather, bring sun protection, sneakers, or comfortable shoes, and consider bringing a jacket since it’s always cooler near the lake.
